In a recent press conference by Gazillion Entertainment, they have reported that Marvel Universe Online is going with the Free-to-Play business model. Aside from that news, further details include the story element aspects of MUO plus how expansive would the Marvel Universe be in MUO.

The main antagonist for MUO will be Dr. Viktor Von Doom. Also, MUO is made with hardcore players in mind so it’s safe to assume that MUO isn’t game for kids. Story-wise the MUO universe would work in consists of the whole Marvel universe with emphasis on the “great moments in the Marvel Universe” (so I guess it’s safe to assume that House of M, Civil War, Dark Reign etc.).
Players would also get to use the Marvel character themselves. However, gameplay details are still kept in the dark.
Well personally though, I’m surprised that MUO is in fact alive. Since I’m more of a Marvel fan than DC, I’d like to see how the game pans out- will it be worth my money? We still have to see.
