MSI has started shipping its RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X but is reportedly being asked to stop by NVIDIA as reported by a HKECPC:
NVIDIA notified MSI to recall this graphics card no matter it is called SUPER 3X or SUPER3X ๐๐๐@VideoCardz pic.twitter.com/tuQGgGOyer

The SUPRIM-based card is a regular RTX 3060 Ti, just with MSI’s new cooler but it may be obviously already for most of you that NVIDIA is not too pleased about one thing. And yes, we’re talking about the name.
If you’re new to the PC scene, NVIDIA saves special names for some of its releases such as the Ti naming which is more prevalent, there’s also the TITAN class, and there is also the SUPER series. The RTX 20 SUPER series of cards was the last release of SUPER cards which were improved versions of their current-gen counterparts, basically if they couldn’t fit in as a Ti card, they’d just be bumped up as a new series where we got the RTX 2060 SUPER, RTX 2070 SUPER and the RTX 2080 SUPER.
This could be the reason NVIDIA is not happy as they don’t want end users to confuse that there was a SUPER card released for the RTX 3060 Ti.
The MSI RTX 3060 Ti SUPER 3X is an Asia-only release and is now pulled from shelves.
