If you are an anime fan looking to upgrade your rig, MSI just dropped the ultimate collector’s item. As part of their exclusive Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End collaboration, MSI has officially unveiled the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G FRIEREN EDITION OC. This isn’t just a simple palette swap, MSI went all out to craft a GPU that blends top-tier gaming performance with emotional, story-driven aesthetics.
The “Kindled Whisper” Heat-Reactive Backplate
The absolute standout feature of this graphics card is the Kindled Whisper Backplate. A dedicated section of the sturdy metal backplate is printed with specialized thermochromic ink. As the GPU heats up during heavy gaming sessions, it magically reveals Himmel’s iconic, tear-jerking line: “I’m sure you still have a long life ahead of you, far longer than we can imagine.” Once the system cools down, the message softly fades away. It is an incredibly unique, thematic touch that perfectly captures the magic of the series.
Next-Gen Power Meets Extreme Cooling
Underneath the gorgeous Frieren and Himmel fan labels and customizable RGB lighting lies an absolute powerhouse. Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4, the card boasts extreme performance clocks pushing up to 2580 MHz. To keep all that power in check, MSI equipped it with their latest thermal innovations:
- TRI FROZR 4 Thermal Design: A massive cooling solution engineered for superior heat dissipation and whisper-quiet operation.
- STORMFORCE Fans: Features seven fan blades with claw texturing and a circular arc for optimal, low-noise airflow.
- Advanced Airflow: Utilizes Wave Curved 4.0 edges and Air Antegrade Fin 2.0 cutouts to reduce turbulence and maximize flow efficiency.
- Dual BIOS: Allows you to easily switch between GAMING mode for raw performance and SILENT mode for a quieter setup.
An Extra Touch of Magic in the Box
MSI isn’t just giving you a stunning graphics card. Just as Himmel wanted to be remembered, MSI wants to be part of your memories. Tucked inside the beautifully designed gift box, buyers will also find a bundled Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End blanket. Crafted from soft, comforting material, it is the perfect companion for long, cozy gaming sessions.
Whether you are building a themed PC or simply want one of the most unique RTX 5070 Ti models on the market, the FRIEREN EDITION OC is a must-have for Frieren fans.
