MSI’s COMPUTEX 2026 Special Editions: Toy Story, Van Gogh, and Loong Edition Laptop

Beyond the flagships, MSI’s most eye-catching COMPUTEX 2026 pieces were its collaboration and art editions. Most are region-locked, which makes the local question the interesting one: MSI indicated it is weighing a Philippine release for its Loong dragon edition laptop, which would be the rare one of these collector pieces to reach our market if it goes ahead. Nothing is confirmed, but it is on the table.

Cyborg 15 C13W Toy Story Special Edition

The headline collaboration is the Cyborg 15 C13W Toy Story Special Edition, jointly presented by MSI and Disney Pixar and strictly limited to 200 units, each individually numbered with a certificate of authenticity issued in June 2026. It is a Taiwan-exclusive, timed to ride alongside the new Toy Story film. The appeal is as much in the box as the laptop: the package includes a Woody laptop sleeve, an Alien optical mouse, a Forky cable organizer, a Rex mousepad, a limited Disney postcard, a pop-up greeting card, and a toy-box-styled shipping carton and gift box, turning the unboxing into the centerpiece.

• MSI and Disney Pixar collaboration, limited to 200 numbered units
• Taiwan-exclusive, timed to the new Toy Story film
• Bundle: Woody sleeve, Alien mouse, Forky cable organizer, Rex mousepad, and themed packaging

Prestige 14 Flip AI+ Vincent van Gogh Edition

The art piece is the Prestige 14 Flip AI+ Vincent van Gogh Edition, the newest entry in MSI’s Artisan Collection after last year’s Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition. It draws on two of Van Gogh’s night scenes, The Starry Night and Starry Night Over the Rhône, with MSI translating the paintings into a multi-layered, tactile lid rather than a flat print, blending the MSI logo into the artwork and matching the keycaps and rubber stops to the theme. Per the booth, the laptop carries Van Gogh’s writings to his brother printed on the deck, extending the homage past the lid. Underneath, it is a capable thin-and-light at 11.9mm and 1.37kg, with a 14-inch FHD+ OLED touchscreen at 100% DCI-P3, the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 silicon with Intel Arc graphics, up to 64GB of LPDDR5X, MSI Nano Pen support with an onboard slot, a quad-speaker setup, and an 81Whr battery. It ships with a themed bundle of a wireless mouse, Starry Night and Rhône mousepads, an ID badge, a sleeve, a keyboard cover, and bespoke packaging.

The Loong Edition Question

For Philippine readers, the one to watch is the Loong dragon edition. MSI signaled it is considering a local release, which would make it the most attainable of these special editions here, since the Toy Story edition is Taiwan-only and the van Gogh edition rolls out regionally on its own schedule. We will update once MSI firms up any Philippine plans.
