With AMD introducing the dual-GPU Radeon Pro graphics cardย intended for VR-experience developers and consumers, its inevitable NVIDIA has to react to this call-out and in true GPU wars fashion, it was revealed that NVIDIA will be revealing their next-generation GPUs at GTX 2015. A tech site though has revealed supposed leaked information of the upcoming Pascal GPUs made in the new 16nm process. The new GPUs are supposed to be dubbed the GeForce X80, X80 Ti and X80 Titan.
[alert variation=”alert-info”]NVIDIA GeForce X: X80, X80Ti and X80 Titan Leaked Specifications
As told by Tech4Gamers, here’s the leaked specification of the new Pascal-based NVIDIAย graphics card.
NVIDIA GeForce X80
The successor of GeForce GTX 980 is equipped with GP104ย GPU core which would consist of 4,096 CUDA Coreswith 256 TMUs and 128 ROPs to a base frequency of 1000 MHz,ย which would be attached to a striking 6GB of GDDR5 memory running at 8000 MHz (no GDDR5X) with a memory interface ofย 384 bits give a bandwidth of 384 Gb / s reaching a yield ofย 8 TFLOPS ย with 175Wย TDP.
NVIDIA GeForce X80Ti
Yes, that would replace the GeForce GTX 980Ti. This model will feature the full GPU Core GP100ย but castrated, which would consist of 5120 CUDA Cores with 320 TMUs and 160 ROPs to a base frequency of 1025 MHz,ย which would be united to 8 GB of GDDR5 memory @ 8000 MHzย andย memory interface of 512 bits give a bandwidth of512 GB / s reaching 10.5 TFLOPS withย 225Wย TDP.
NVIDIA GeForce Titan X80
GeForce Titan X80 will join the GTX Titan family as its name suggests, the GPU is equipped with Full Pascalย GP100ย GPU core,ย that translates to ย 6144 CUDA Cores with 384 TMUs and 192 ROPs to a base frequency of1025 MHz, which would be attached to 16GB of HBM2 memory @ 1000 Hz together with a memory interface 1024 bits give a bandwidth of 1024 GB / s reaching 12.5 TFLOPSย maintaining 225Wย TDP.
Obviously, this information is not official, so we expect to see more such rumors before the GTCย in April, where Jen-Hsun has his โopening keynoteโ, and hopefully has something to say about Pascal.

Do take these info with a large helping of salt. NVIDIA is not in any way pressured to release their new GPUs and they can happily cruise by with their current stack. From a business perspective though, they can release a new wave of GPUs to scoop up the upgraders market provided they can give a significant improvement in performance or efficiency as what 2nd-gen Maxwell gave when it replaced Fermi. I do feel that its unlikely NVIDIA will release the full high-end stack of its new lineup, a possible scenario of new releases could be a single GTX 1080/GeForce X80 serving as the high-end Pascal GPU along with a castrated GTX 1070/X70 to accompany it in the stack with a new variation of the Titan X featuring Pascal GPUs appearing soon-after.

So much for the HBM2 hype if this is true cause Titan’s the only one that’s gonna have it. More power efficiency is always welcome though
nice
sweet xmas…
980ti owners get ready to be fcked once pascal is released x60 mid range pascal owners miraculously beat ur flagship maxwell gpu. Just like how the gtx 960 outperformed a 780ti in witcher 3
