Corsair is pushing hard into eSports territory to launch its Vengeance line of gaming peripherals and what better to demonstrate your wares than with a gaming tournament.
The first ever Corsair Asia Cup will see the best teams of Asia duke it out in a bid for supremacy. Corsair has invited a representative for each country as follows:
- Scythe (Singapore)
- Orange (Malaysia)
- MVP (Korea)
- Titan (Malaysia)
- Zephyr (Korea)
- Arrow (Malaysia)
- Mineski (Philippines)

Corsair®, ®, a designer and supplier of high-performance PC game hardware, today announced the first ever Corsair Asia Cup online tournament for DOTA2. Prizes include US$3,000 cash plus over US$2,000 worth of best-in-class Corsair K70 keyboards featuring Cherry MX mechanical switches, Vengeance gaming headsets and M45 mice. Not to mention five Corsair Voyager Go flash drives with OTG technology that will enable five lucky winners to use them with their OTG-ready phones.
Registrations for the Corsair Asia Cup qualifiers are now open and will close April 18, 2014, with 8 invited teams and 12 qualifying teams expected to participate from April 28 – May 10, 2014. The 8 invited teams are: MVP (Korea), Titan(Malaysia), Scythe (Singapore), Orange(Malaysia), Arrow(Malaysia), Mineski (Philippines), Zephyr (Korea).
The first round of qualifiers will take place on April 21-24, and will include teams from Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, and Vietnam. The second round will be held from April 23-25, for Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Then the last round of qualifiers will be on April 26 and 27, for the rest of Asia.
