Following up on its release of the รย MX500, Cougar is adding another entry into the MX chassis lineup with the MX300. Featuring a beehive mesh in front, the MX300 takes a lot of design cues from the Archonรย but serves it in black.
The MX300 has an expanded side panel for more cable-routing space and fully tool-less drive cages. The MX300 supports full ATX motherboards with up to 7 expansion slots. A total of 7 fan mounting areas are also available giving the case plenty of airflow, complete with dust covers.
For some reason, Cougar still insists on retaining that god-awful sidepanel that sits next to the drive cages. I get the science behind it, but seriously… go full window or none at all, Cougar. Please.

There is also a transparent side cover design to show off your rig. Lastly, there are air filters on the bottom, top and front to prevent dust from entering the enclosure.
