GIGABYTE has just showcased the GIGABYTE Essence mini-ITX chassis. This chassis is intended for low-power applications that can be operated fanless in the the ITX form factor. The GIGABYTE Essence dimensions are 300mm x 234mm x 74mm constructed from SECC steel and plastic. Its design is a modern take on the desktop mini-PC with a long and narrow base that supports the slanting main chassis. The base also serves as the DC power supply’s housing.
Available in Japan right now for $130 converted. The source states that the GIGABYTE Essence is expected to not exceed $100 in western markets.
