Reebok and Sony Interactive Entertainment have unveiled the Reebok x PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, a three-sneaker collaboration honoring the launch of the original PlayStation console in 1994. Scheduled for release this October, the lineup brings together Reebok’s iconic silhouettes with PlayStation’s gaming heritage across three region-specific editions: InstaPump Fury 94 (Japan), Pump Omni Zone II (U.S.), and Workout Plus (U.K.).

A Design Language Rooted in PlayStation History

Each sneaker draws inspiration from the gray color scheme and design details of the first PlayStation console. Packaging mirrors the original console box, while accents like button-inspired lace charms, PlayStation logo graphics, and hidden memory card references tie directly back to the console’s 1990s legacy. Regional exclusivity adds another layer of nostalgia, with each pair linked to the platform’s original launch dates in Japan, North America, and Europe.

The Collection

  • InstaPump Fury 94 – Japan (¥37,000 JPY)
Features an anniversary gray sock liner, a “Press Play” pump ball, and a tongue label styled like a PlayStation memory card. Hidden text notes the Japanese launch date: December 3, 1994.

  • Pump Omni Zone II – U.S. ($220 USD)
Includes gray sock liners, two lace sets with metal tips, and a removable lacelock cable attachment. The custom pump ball features PlayStation’s signature colors, while the tongue hides a memory card graphic referencing the U.S. launch date: September 9, 1995.

  • Workout Plus – U.K. (£150 GBP)
Comes with anniversary gray sock liners, lace options with metal tips, and button-styled lace dubraes. Hidden details reference the European launch date: September 29, 1995.

Nostalgia Woven Into Every Stitch

“This collection is a time machine,” said Mubi Ali, Global Senior Product Marketing Manager at Reebok. “It’s for the after-school music TV kids: grunge in their headphones, wheels at their feet, and a dial-up world that felt wide open. We’ve brought those memories to life in every stitch, lace, and pump.”

Release and Availability

The Reebok x PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection launches mid-October 2025 in extremely limited quantities through select retailers in the U.S., Japan, and U.K.
