Prolific leaker kopite7kimi is 99% sure of his recent leaks suggesting the power target of the upcoming RTX 4080 graphics card from NVIDIA. In a recent tweet, kopite7kimi that the RTX 4080 will draw up to 420W. Total Graphics Power or TGP has already been assumed to be above 400W for the card especially with Intel’s ATXv3 standard already setting the pace of what we can expect from the newer GPUs using the new 16-pin connector standard.
Possible RTX 4080, PG139-SKU360, has a 420W TGP, still uses AD103.

In the tweet thread, the leaker states that he is 99% sure of this and further states that the RTX 4060 will also have a higher power draw, exceeding the RTX 3070 which is around 220W. A possible 50W increase on the RTX 4060 could see the card drawing up to 270W of power. This should put the RTX 4070 between those numbers if not close to 420W as well.
