SEGA is marking the 20th anniversary of Persona 3 today, July 13, 2026. According to SEGA, the ATLUS title continues to resonate with players through its modern reimagining, Persona 3 Reload, which has sold over 3 million units worldwide. In commemoration of the milestone, SEGA has unveiled new artwork from original character designer Shigenori Soejima alongside a new anniversary music video.

“Persona 3: 20th Anniversary Remix” Music Video
SEGA also released a music video titled “Persona 3: 20th Anniversary Remix,” featuring a reimagined track by DJ VaVa with retro pixel art by Motocross Saito. The video is built around Persona 3‘s atmosphere, framed for studying, working, or unwinding.
- DJ (VaVa): a rapper, DJ, and music producer from the hip hop crew CreativeDrugStore, who previously served as DJ for PERSONA LIVE TOUR 2024 (More Ahead) and arranged the music for this anniversary video. According to VaVa, the track was reworked into a more chill style for the occasion, with new vocals recorded by Lotus Juice specifically for the video.
- Pixel Artist and Art Director (Motocross Saito): a pixel artist known for capturing the atmosphere of everyday life and urban culture, whose past work includes POCARI SWEAT, Shincho Bunko, NHK, PUMA, and Shinsei Kamattechan. Saito handled the pixel art and art direction for the video.
- Director (Arito Chida): born in 1999, Chida worked at a branding and advertising media firm before going freelance in 2025, specializing in websites and video production. Chida directed this music video.
The Persona series is also celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, alongside Persona 3‘s 20th and Persona 3 Reload‘s 2nd anniversary since its original platform launch.
