Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, Square Enix’s upcoming CGI film that’s part of the massive hype the company has been building up for the fifteenth installment for the franchise, is soon to hit the Japanese cinemas come July 9. And with that said, you’re going to expect the company to not let it die anytime sooner. Check out the first Japanese promotional trailer teaser for the film.
It doesn’t exactly showcase much about the film, and it’s 35 seconds too short if I do say so myself. Actually, we’ve seen most of it when the first trailer of the film emerged, so it’s more a matter of keeping the hype alive rather than divulging new things here.
At a personal standpoint, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV gives off the vibe of Final Fantasy XII. You know, airships, knights dressed as judges, and a somewhat similar setting save for Nomura’s established love for . Albeit we also have a much cooler protagonist, so to speak.
But with everything said, Square Enix is making up for the decade-long wait that we had to endure for Final Fantasy XV. We’re getting a movie that’s complete with a star-studded cast, an anime, a mobile game, and so much more in the fold. So, expect this year to be a blast when the game finally hits this September.
