Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot a recent post on the Capcom Unity blog hinting at the Street Fighter V release date with a post about PAX East merchandise including the new Street Fighter V – Ryu tee.
In a Capcom Unity post (which has now been edited to omit the apparent release date), the post goes on to state:
Everyone is fired up for Street Fighter V coming to the PS4 and PC next Spring. Until then, you can sport the official SFV key art T-shirt, which features Ryu in a heroic pose, for $25.
Regardless, Amazon has already put up pre-order listing for the Playstation 4 version of Street Fighter V with a release date set for March 31, 2016. You can see the listing here.
The Street Fighter V release date isn’t set in stone and Capcom can still swing it around as they see fit. But as of now, what is set is that Street Fighter V will be a Playstation 4 and PC exclusive as reported earlier.
