Hallohallo Inc is honored to announce Hallo Hallo Entertainment Inc as the official operator of MNL48.
MNL48 is newest sister group of the famous Japanese idol group, AKB48. It will be launched later this year along with its two other sister groups: TPE48 in Taiwan (which had been announced years before) and BNK48 in Thailand. MNL48 will be composed of young Filipina girls that will be selected from a nationwide audition search. The chosen girls will undergo intensive training under the AKB48 system and will perform in their very own theater.
As the official operator, Hallo Hallo Entertainment Inc. will be spear-heading the momentous launch of probably the most anticipated idol group in the Philippines. HHE Inc. will bring the phenomenal culture of the AKB48 in the local scene as they manage the journey of MNL48 here in the Philippines and overseas. HHE Inc. is also the management behind the Movie Stars Cafe located at Mall of Asia, Pasay City aside from producing several TV shows.
As you may all remember, Hallohallo Inc is the one behind the Cool Japan Festival in Trinoma last year. AKB48 Team 8 came and performed before a surprisingly large crowd (larger than I expected, anyway) managing to bring out both long-time AKB48 faithful as well as the closet fans or those – like me – who had been undecided up to that day.
