Let’s tear some of the option parts to see what we can work with further. Starting off with the drive cage, this requires removing the pair of screws that secure the cage in place. Once removed, the drive cage of the Corsair 2500 can be removed if you don’t plan to use it and it most cases, I recommend you do.
As mentioned earlier, the side fan mount can be removed and its placement adjusted so it can be closer to the front or up against the side.
A pull tab allows easy removable of the top filter exposing the mounting bracket for the radiator/fan mount at the top of the case.
Corsair sells a custom GPU mount for this case including the riser for $69. If you want to use that or modify your own, the default expansion slot cover assembly comes off by removing a couple of screws.
The front glass panel can also be removed but take note that Corsair does not sell the mesh panel to convert a 2500X to a 2500D Airflow. You can however do the reverse and convert the 2500D Airflow to a 2500X by using the front glass from Corsair.
