Installation on the Corsair 6500X is pretty straightforward as all the space is really left open.ย As I pointed out earlier, the PSU lays a bit lower on the side of the case, which means PSUs with shorter cables may have their cables running short if the cage is left there which is I removed it for this build.
With the fans and PSU mounting on the back, I then mount everything on the front and we’re good to go.

Elite Panel Kit
Corsair also sent us their Teak Elite Panel Kit to dress the 6500X up.
These panels replace the standard metal face plates or deco panels on the case. There’s a total of 5 option panel with wood options including walnut, bamboo, and teak. There’s also a pair of metal options which is obsidian and the panel kit eclusive Satin Gray.
Yes, its real wood.
Some assembly required but its onl a couple of screws.
