The FRAME 4000D lives up to its name when completely disassembled. The motherboard tray, roof, front mounts, bottom trays, and the expansion slots can all be removed, leaving a frame.
The front panel stack is a nice array of filters and mounts and is completely tool-less.
Here’s the drive tray moved out of the allocated holes.
The top panel is easily removed once the thumb screws are removed and pulled via the pull-tab.
When rotating the expansion slots, the covers themselves don’t need to be rotated nor any of the thumbscrews removed. All the user needs to do is remove the locking captive screws (2 of them) and then rotate. Easy!
Unlike the front filter that snaps in place or the PSU filter that slides-in, the side panel filter is magnetic and can easily be removed for cleaning.
