Flappy Bird is an Android/iOS game by “.GEARS STUDIOS”. They are a small, independent game developer based in Vietnam. A group of developers making arcade games that are bite-sized, take no more than a few minutes of playing right on smartphones and tablets. Their work is heavily influenced by retro pixelated games in its golden age. Everything is pure, extremely hard and incredibly fun to play.
This game is new and it’s already taking the mainstream smartphone gaming scene. Surprisingly, the game size is less than 1MB for Android and about 2.4MB on iOS! Well I had no plans playing or trying it until I saw a game over screen of the game on my Facebook wall for about 14th time and from different persons. Our of curiosity, I just had to try it.

The first time I played Flappy Birdรย I died a couple of times trying to make that bird flap its wings to fly and get across aรย pair of Super Mario Bros pipes. That pretty much it — and that wraps up our review of this game… What you don’t believe me? The mechanics of the game is as simple as that. Just try to score high or beat your friends high score.
No seriously, I played this game cause out of curiosity. It has a sense of fun and you might find yourself playing for hours before you knew it. Trying your best to make that bird flap its wings to fly across a pair of pipes and see how long you will last without hitting anything on the way. Although it might be a retro game or a classic one but the colors, design, fun, and game play is a good mix. It’ll definitely catch your attention once you saw one of your friends playing it.
You might want to give it a try but I doubt this game will please everyone. Also, don’t bother trying to achieve the highest score in the world because after checking the highest score recorded. I lost interest playing the game. Why? the highest score in the word for this game is about more than 2M points and there’s still more! From top 1 to top 20. The high scores are the same hitting more than 2M in points. Now who’s insanely enough to dedicate it’s life playing and achieving that points. Without a doubt, you can easily cheat on this game.
Nonetheless, it’s fun and it has that killing time factor. Give it a try and see if you can beat my highest score of 34 points.
