Design & Build Quality
The Redragon GhostBlade K735 arrives with a level of presentation that reflects the brand’s growing confidence in premium-tier peripherals. The packaging is neatly structured, featuring a foam-protected interior and dedicated compartments for accessories.
Inside, Redragon includes a right-angled USB-C cable, a key switch puller, two spare switches, and a concise English manual.
The keyboard itself adopts a low-profile 90% form factor with a clean, floating-key layout over a metal top plate. The overall construction feels solid, with minimal deck flex and a polished finish that complements both gaming and minimalist setups. The charging port positioned on the left is the only ergonomic compromise, as cable routing may interfere with desk layout depending on system placement.
Connectivity & Features
The GhostBlade K735 is a wired keyboard featuring a detachable USB-C cable. As mentioned, the cable port is located on the left side of the housing meaning some routing issue may come up for some folks. Redragon tries to minimize this with an angled USB-C connetor but the overall cable mess would be me more on the trailing cable than anything else.
The Ghostblade K735 supports hot-swappable switches. Redragon is using in-house branded Hall Effect switches. These are magnetic linear switches with full actuation support for its entire 4mm travel distance from 0.1mm which is a defining feature of magnetic switches.
Hall Effect Switches & Rapid Trigger, Software
The defining feature of the GhostBlade K735 is its Hall Effect magnetic switches. Unlike traditional mechanical designs that rely on physical contact, these switches detect actuation through magnetic sensing—resulting in extremely consistent keystrokes, zero debounce delay, and virtually limitless durability.
This design also enables fully adjustable actuation points, configurable per key via software. Users can tailor the trigger depth anywhere within the key travel, creating customized response profiles for typing or gaming.
Redragon further includes a “Rapid Trigger” mode, allowing keys to reset immediately upon release without needing to travel back to the original actuation point. This results in lightning-fast key repeats—particularly advantageous in rhythm or FPS titles. However, it’s worth noting that some competitive games and tournament platforms classify rapid trigger behavior as an unfair advantage. Users should therefore be mindful of where they enable this feature.
The GhostBlade’s software suite, available via Redragon’s global site, launches in English by default and is straightforward to navigate.
It provides complete control over RGB lighting, macro creation, key remapping, and per-key actuation configuration.
Advanced Keys are a different set of customization from Macros. While standard macros can be bound on standard keys, Advanced Key setup allows custom actions for the travel actuation e.g. holding down a key can activate Shift+Key for sprints and holding it halfway can be regular Key.
The interface is responsive and stable, with settings saved directly to onboard memory. For a mid-range keyboard, the inclusion of granular actuation tuning places the GhostBlade well above its price class, edging into enthusiast territory traditionally reserved for analog or optical platforms.
Performance
In practice, the GhostBlade K735 delivers precise, fluid input with no perceptible delay or chatter. The Hall Effect switches feel smooth and linear, producing consistent response timing across all keys. Wireless performance remains stable in both 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth modes, and key rollover is properly implemented—no ghosting even under simultaneous multi-input conditions.
Sound profile is moderately subdued compared to conventional mechanical keyboards, making it suitable for shared or late-night environments. For daily typing, the travel remains comfortable, though the compact layout may require minimal adjustment for those accustomed to full-size boards.
Verdict
The Redragon GhostBlade K735 represents a significant step forward for the brand’s keyboard lineup. With Hall Effect technology, Rapid Trigger capability, and fully adjustable actuation points, it introduces features previously limited to higher-end or enthusiast models at a far more accessible price.
Users should simply remain cautious when using Rapid Trigger in online or tournament environments, as not all platforms currently permit its use.
For everyone else, the GhostBlade K735 stands as Redragon’s most technically advanced and feature-rich keyboard to date, offering real innovation where it matters most—performance. Its not perfect and quality is definitely not to the same level as some of its contemporaries, even in the same price point. But delivering a hall effect keyboard with a functional customization suite, the Redragon Ghostblade is an affordable option for this exact need.
