Indie games are sometimes equated with cheap games that have retro-style graphics. With most of the games today boasting impressive realism in image quality, playing games which look like from the 1990’s is a good idea to break the monotony. There is nothing wrong with retro-style graphics but some indie games just capitalize on the idea but does not offer anything substantial in terms of game play. When done right, affordable indie games are good for enticing gamers to start buying legit copies of games and stop downloading games from torrent sites.
