Recently, we published a list of affordable single-player games that offer good value for the money and will surely eat up your free time. Single-player games are good because they are not dependent on the internet but we know there are also gamers who prefer to play with their friends or other people. So, we made a list of multi-player PC games that are affordable and have a high number of players. The games we included in the list are available on Linux and allows cross-play with gamers on Windows. If you just play “Free-to-Play” games like DOTA 2 and War Thunder most of the time, we don’t think it’s practical to buy an OS.
All of the games listed here can be found at the Steam Store and you need a Steam account before you are able to buy and download games. Watch this video for instructions on how to create a free Steam account.
The data for discounted prices and player count are taken from SteamDB.
