Shuffler Game is casual puzzle game that consists of tiles that you have to re-arrange them to form the image that is shown. There are different sets of rules for shuffling around the tiles that make it more challenging for the players to correctly form the image. The game was developed by QNELL s.r.o. Main Menu:
The main menu consists of the game title plus the name of the play and the rank of the player that is based on its scores. The first of the four small buttons is an option for the player to enter their desired name. The second one toggles the background music to either turn it off or on. next to it is the toggle for the sound effects. Finally, the last one loads you to a new screen where you can see the hall of fame for the game and see the credits, as well as for you to be able to recommend the game via email. One great thing about this game is that the developer added a feature that allows you to easily send comments and suggestions for the developers to read.
GamePlay:
Shuffler has a pretty good customization in which the player can choose basically how and what he wants to play. From the number of tiles that you want to play with, to how they flip, even the image that will be your goal can be chosen by you! The difficulty of the games varies with the number of tiles that make up the image.
Here is a sample game that I played. as you can see, there is another good twist included in shuffler. There are certain game modes that require you to flip the tiles more than once. This adds a new side that will encourage the player to think more carefully and plan two steps ahead while trying to figure out where the tiles are placed. Other things that you should take note of is the score and the image that is located on the upper left. The game scores you by the number of moves that you make on the way to correctly arranging the tiles to form the image.
To help you not get confused, there are guide arrows that help you see where you can slide those tiles. In some games modes, it will also show what rows and columns will be affected when you move one tile, so better think about where your placing them!
Should you require some further assistance, you can press the “?” button to show the directions for the particular game type that you want to play.
Here is an example of a correctly arranged game. As you can see, when completed, the tiles light up one by one to “celebrate” your accomplishment, then transitions to this:
This screen shows the score that you got and your personal high score, as well as the global high score, should you be connected to the internet. Remember, the lower the score, the better it is!
Here is one more example that shows the customization of this game. I picked the “Full Swap” game that cycles between three images: X,Y and the puppy. The game is great at providing a lot of new challenges while not being boring. Great brain exercise, if IÂ must say.
Conclusion
Though it may seem like another sudoku – like puzzler, Shuffler is actually more than that. It provides a lot of obstacles that make the game interesting. The game modes are challenging enough that you will enjoy them, but not that hard that you will quit on it. Each number of tiles (3×3, 4×4, 5×5) has some game modes that are available only on them that provide more unique challenges for all types of players. The only thing that i did not like is that there is no background music when you’re actually playing the game. Overall, Shuffler provides more than a lot of puzzle games combined, which is very worth the $0.99 tag.
Highly Recommended!
