There are products out there that tackle this by employing a modular approach or just significantly trading off what it can to favor aesthetics whilst still retaining some measure of flexibility. There’s also the rising trend in edgier designs which go side-by-side with minimalist styling and while there’s a lot of them right now, there’s a lot that leaves you wanting more with these cases. There are brands out there well-known for developing such designs but Fractal Design has been experimenting with merging traditional chassis design with modern trends. Their flagship DEFINE series has been one of their most successful cases offering a clean, elegant look whilst still offering a lot flexibility with case interior which is perfect for minimalist who want a classy, clean look to their build. Today Fractal Design is launching their latest iteration of their flagship DEFINE series with the new Fractal Design DEFINE R6 chassis.

Pricing for the DEFINE R6 is positioned well for their flagship chassis. At $129.99 for the standard non-Windowed version which is intended for those seeking maximum silence, its primary competitors being the NZXT H440, the Corsair 330R and a few others within the price range which lack some of the features that Fractal Design has introduced with the DEFINE R6. The windowed version is priced $149.99 and is the one we expect to be more popular. We’ll talk more about the details of the Tempered Glass panel that Fractal Design uses but their implementation is so much better than any acrylic option.

The Fractal Design is available starting December 20, 2017.
