Warlord Project Dragonfire is one of the first product of Warlord Technologies other than chairs. Warlord is still a small brand given that they just started in November 2016. However, Warlord shows a true potential of a brand that aims to be a world wide brand. A brand for gamers and individuals. To clarify, Warlord is not just a brand for chairs, they are a brand for peripherals and accessories as well.
Warlord Technologies Pte Ltd, commonly known as Warlord, is a company which is into the business of designing, manufacturing and selling of gaming furniture and peripheral. The packaging is simple and straightforward. As can be seen on this video, the Warlord Project Dragonfire mouse mat doesn’t offer any extravagant packaging.
Taking our the mouse mat, the immediate impact it gives you is its size and thickness. It has a dimension of 80 cm by 30 cm and thickness of 3mm. It’s quite thick given the design of mouse mat nowadays. It feels premium and nice but I’m a hard mouse mat person. I prefer hard mouse mat than soft ones.
The edges are stitched which is the norm nowadays. Allowing you to wash this mouse mat if it gets dirty over time. There’s nothing much else to mention here.
The Warlord Project Dragonfire mouse mat uses a rubber jagged Crisscross base design preventing it to slip whenever you use it. It’s quite heavy too given its length.
The design of the Warlord Project Dragonfire is simplistic but cool in a way. There’s a huge design of their logo that takes about 40% of the surface area and it is coloured in red. As the name suggests, Dragonfire. A breath of a dragon.
Another thing that you will notice is the brand name located at the lower right corner of the mouse mat. It looks great along with their logo as the main design of the mouse mat, to be honest. It gives off that premium feels that you bought something really worth it.
The Warlord Project Dragonfire professional gaming mouse mat is a decent mouse mat. You can pretty much expect everything that you should expect from an extended mouse mat but don’t expect any RGB LED soon.
In terms of price, it’s quite affordable with a selling price of PHP899. Though of course, there are other cheaper alternatives out there such as the Tecware Haste XXL for just PHP 499.
So what makes this mouse mat better than others? For me, the quality and design are probably the best things you can get from this mouse mat. Cheaper ones tend to be simple and offer less design but if you want something that has a cool red and black design combination, then the Warlord Project Dragonfire is something to consider for.
