CONCLUSION
The Palit GeForce GTX 770 Jetstream surely wins out in a lot of department but one thing that Palit is well known for is providing an affordable option amongst the competition. Retailing at around ₱20,000 as of this writing, the Palit GeForce GTX 770 Jetstream 2GB offers excellent performance that will crunch up anything you throw at it at maximum detail even for 1080p resolution. Stepping up the performance via overclocking made sure we get more than our money’s worth giving us a nice boost across the charts. The revised Jetstream cooler also kept our temperatures in check and performed quietly even at maximum load.
That said, it’s really hard to find fault in this card but as a budget option, Palit does cut costs at a few procedures. Taking a closer look at our sample’s PCB we see some grime in the back of the PCB, residue of the manufacturing process. Though it doesn’t harm performance at all, it does look unsightly. Another small observation we have is that there isn’t any game included. It might not be game-changing or a must-buy but the inclusion of a game could sway some buyers.
In closing, the Palit GeForce GTX 770 Jetstream 2GB offers top-of-the-line performance for a reasonable price. If you’re coming off a GTX660 Ti or GTX670, we don’t recommend upgrading just yet. The GTX770 is mostly aimed at new builds or those coming of mainstream-class graphics cards. If you are out building a new system right now and want a solid single-card solution that can take on any game at 1080p or even higher with a tad of detail tailoring, the Palit GeForce GTX 770 Jetstream 2GB is solid option.
With excellent thermal management and a price to beat, we award the Palit GeForce GTX 770 Jetstream 2GB our Recommended and Bronze Award. The Palit GeForce GTX 770 Jetstream 2GB is backed by a 2-year warranty.
