So after the events of the first season, Muneakira goes off on a journey to train himself to be a better General. And he’s back.
However, the Yagyuu dojo has essentially transformed into a maid cafe, simply because they are in dire need of money.
But then, their first set of costumers are actually four dark samurais, supposedly rising from the grave in order to challenge the one who sealed away Amakusa Shiro. And so soon enough a fight breaks out.
Only that Juubei can’t transform, and the four dark samurai wipes the floor with Muneakira’s entire team. Heck, they even put a curse on Muneakira which will seal his powers, possibly permanently. And thus they have one month to defeat them by bringing out the real Juubei.
And that, my friends, is how this second season begins. Totally pointless and stupid. The fight scenes is even way too one-sided. And well, Muneakira is still effectively useless even if he’s supposed to be a strong samurai.
So plain and simple, this is something you watch for girls and fanservice, nothing more. Well, fine, technically it is amusing at some level, but somehow it didn’t captivate me like how the first season did.
Fanservice shots follow…
