We take a look at the ECS Z170-CLAYMORE motherboard. With a cleaner look, ECS has really taken a step back and made their new gaming product a bit more appealing to the eyes. That said, the BIOS leaves a lot to be desired and we can only hope that ECS rolls out an update to improve the BIOS settings and options for overclocking control.
While it serves as a good full-sized office desktop replacement, one of the ECS LIVA X is that can serve as a feature-packed HTPC solution for entertainments nuts, even doubling as a low-power torrent box for download freaks out there. For this review though, we particularly given focus on the game streaming capabilities of the ECS LIVA X given its lower specs compared to Intel NUCs or even the GIGABYTE BRIX.
