PNY bringing out their latest custom GTX 1080 in the market. XLR8 lulz

If you’re still at 1080p there’s really little reason to jump to Pascal if you’re still rocking a GTX 980 Ti or so but if you want a taste of what high-end Pascal can offer, the GTX 1070 is easily the more sensible choice due to the rather large gap that the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 have.

The ZOTAC GTX 1070 AMP EXTREME tries to bridge that gap offering a performance difference of around 17% for a price 40% less. Add to that the improved cooling and lighting options and you got one solid card.

We take a look at our first custom-cooled GTX 1080 and it also happens to be the new flagship of Palit: the new Palit GTX 1080 GameRock Premium edition. With one of the highest factory OC in a GTX 1080 right now, this card is extremely powerful but its huge size is a bit limiting. Still, power has its price and around $800 right now, this thing is pretty premium even for Palit.
