Philippine idol group MNL48 will stage their first ever major concert on April 6, 2019 at the New Frontier Theater.

The announcement came while the group was in the midst of a two-day mall tour for their first single-album “Aitakatta-Gustong Makita”.
Despite the haze-filled MV, MNL48 still managed to make their fans happy and their wallets ready (hopefully). With a week before their first single release, let’s take a closer look at this important milestone. One that will set the standard for Philippine J-idol music videos until the next one comes in.
Aitakatta is the signature song of the highest selling idol group in Japan and MNL48’s sister group, AKB48. The song was the first major single of the group and topped the Oricon Singles Chart, the Japanese music industry standard singles popularity chart, in 2006.
It’s a generally quiet week for MNL48 with only the announcement of SGO48 to give color. While Stan really wishes he can see them every week, he’d happily be bored rather than go through another ‘pasabog.’
