Evolution Championship Series (Evo), the world’s largest and longest-running open-invite fighting game festival, has confirmed its first Southeast Asian event. Evo Singapore runs January 15 to 17, 2027, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, and player registrations and tickets are officially on sale now.
The event joins a growing run of regional gaming celebrations, following PokemonXP and the PokeXciting Manila pop-up earlier this year.
Five Games, US$125,000 Minimum Prize Pool
Evo Singapore will run five games for a share of a minimum guaranteed prize pool of US$125,000 across all titles:
- Street Fighter 6 (Capcom)
- TEKKEN 8 (Bandai Namco Entertainment), serving as the Last Chance Qualifier for the TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals
- MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls (Sony Interactive Entertainment)
- Guilty Gear -Strive- (Arc System Works)
- Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (Cygames)

TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals
Singapore will also host the TEKKEN World Tour (TWT) 2026 Global Finals, with a separate US$300,000 prize pool. The Global Finals run group stages on January 14 and 15, the Last Chance Qualifier on January 16, and the Final Bracket on January 17. TWT has been organized by TEKKEN 8 developer Bandai Namco Entertainment since 2017, with players earning points across the season by competing in TEKKEN 8 tournaments worldwide before the season’s highest scorers meet at the Global Finals.
“Singapore has a vibrant history with fighting games, including producing Evo champion Xian, former world tour qualifier events like Southeast Asia Major, and hosting offices for multiple fighting game publishers,” said Rick Thiher, General Manager for Evo. “We’re excited for Evo and the TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals to be part of the Lion City’s ongoing legacy.”
