ASUS is keeping all details close to their vest with the ROG Ally. A gaming handheld much like the Steam Deck, many theories about details and pricing of the ROG Ally have already been said regarding its specs and its price.
ASUS has already revealed some key details about the ROG Ally like its 120hz monitor or its internal layout. Only recently we’ve also only found out about the AMD Ryzen Z1 and the Ryzen Z1 Extreme processors which AMD has designed for gaming handhelds.
With ASUS already announcing the launch event at May 11 for the ROG Ally, it was cemented that that event would disclose the pricing but it seems like Best Buy has something else in mind. The tweet below from someone who The Verge vets as reliable shares a screenshot of a Best Buy listing of the ROG Ally with a $699 price tag:
Best Buy product page leaked the price of the Asus ROG Ally. It will be priced at $699 dollars for the 16GB/512GB variant. pic.twitter.com/CbfERTkGT4

ASUS plans to release two configurations for the ROG Ally featuring both AMD Ryzen Z1 and AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processors. The listing above shows us the top-end version which has the Ryzen Z1 Extreme. This 8-core/16-thread CPU will also have 16GB of LPDDR5 and 512GB of storage. Graphics is powered off a Navi3 GPU solution.
This high-end model is shown in the leak as $699.99. If this listing is to be believed, then a lower-end model will definitely sit between $399 and $699, the former being the price of the Steam Deck’s base model.
