World Cyber Games Releases First Official Titles for 2011

In preparation for the 2011 leg of the World Cyber Games, the WCG website officially released the first official games.

WCG 2011 Official Game Titles:

Fighting

• Tekken 6 (Namco Bandai Games)

FPS (First Person Shooting)

• Counter-Strike 1.6 (Valve)
• Crossfire (Neowiz Games/Smilegate)
• Special Force (Dragonfly)

MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game)

• World of Warcraft^®: Cataclysmâ„¢ (Blizzard Entertainment)

RTS (Real Time Strategy)

• League of Legends (Riot Games)
• StarCraft^® II: Wings of Libertyâ„¢ (Blizzard Entertainment)
• Warcraft^® III: The Frozen Throneâ„¢ (Blizzard Entertainment)

Sports

• FIFA 11 (Electronic Arts)

Some people were already up in arms with the inclusion of some games (or the lack of some of them) in the list. However it was already clear that this is the FIRST games that will be used in WCG2011 and not the FINAL list of games. The question actually isn’t the games included but rather will we be sending representatives from the PH to take part this year? (since some of the titles are already found here in our country)
