Battlefield 6 is a redemption story—one that EA and DICE have owed long-time fans for over a decade. After the broken trust of Battlefield 2042, the studio’s newest entry doesn’t just patch old wounds; it redefines the core Battlefield identity. Gone are the gimmicks and hero systems that fractured the experience. What’s left is a focused, modern combined-arms sandbox that finally feels like the series’ best days: 64-player chaos, class-based synergy, and the tactile satisfaction of destruction that shapes the battlefield itself.

This year also places Battlefield 6 in direct contention with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which pushes further into sci-fi militarism and faster mobility. Battlefield 6, by contrast, slows the pace but amplifies the weight—its grounded combat and near-present setting evoke Battlefield 3 and 4, only cleaner, leaner, and more self-aware. With a strong launch build, minimal crashes, and a clear vision of what “Battlefield” means in 2025, this is the most complete day-one release the series has seen in years.

This review is based on the PC version of the game. Besides controller differences, playability remains uniform throughout platforms.

Ive always sucked at competative shooter game ever since Counterstrike era but people say noobs like me can still enjoy the game and can get ranked high… is it true?

Rson Briones competitive siya pero walang pressure kahit noob ka hinde mo kailangan maging pro as long as na-eenjoy mo laruin, kahit pro player sa laro napapatay din laro tayo sir kahit bots kalaban skilled na sila!

Rson yes, because game is more than 5 players, even if you’re bottom frag, u can still rank up unlike those 5v5 fps games

Rson Briones i feel its possible. you’re with a squad naman sa larger map modes, you can just get a feel of the game from what they do if you stick together. sa traditional CQBs or deathmatches, its prolly gonna feel the same as with all competitive FPS

also its crossplatform, and high-chance you get matched with 90% console players so its easy to pick the new ones off if you’re at least competent with your aim.
