AMD will add another notch to its CPU belt this year with the new Vermeer CPU lineup based on Zen 3, a little later in 2020. Thanks to laptop manufacturer XMG whose bespoke Apex 15 is quite a powerhouse featuring AMD’s 16-core Ryzen 3950X. The company has posted on Reddit about their new laptop which states the specs as well pointing our support for Ryzen 4000 CPUs in the future. XMG has stated B450 motherboards will be supporting Ryzen 4000 via a microcode update that AMD will supply to OEMs.

This is quite good news for everyone who are on a B450 board and looking to extend its service.
