ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced the ROG Flux Charger Dock, a desktop charging hub rated for 260W of continuous power delivery across a single AC cable. The pitch is consolidation. Rather than running a laptop brick, a handheld charger and a phone cable side by side, the Flux Charger Dock feeds all of them from one unit, and it exposes what it is doing on a 1.9-inch LCD with a physical control knob rather than burying it in desktop software.

260W Across Five Ports
The port loadout is split front and rear. The front face carries two USB-C ports rated at 100W each with 10Gbps data, plus two USB Type-A ports at 12W and 480Mbps. Around the back sits a 140W USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, an HDMI 2.1 output and the AC input.
Those port ratings add up to more than the dock’s 260W continuous rating, which is where the charging modes come in. The dock allocates its budget according to which mode is selected rather than serving every port at maximum simultaneously.
- Silent: caps output to keep the dock’s fan quiet.
- Priority: directs the available budget toward a nominated device.
- Dual Laptop: splits power for two notebooks charging at once.
- Smart: allocates automatically based on what is connected.
- Fan Turbo: raises cooling headroom for sustained high-wattage draw.

Display Output and the Onboard LCD
The rear HDMI 2.1 port handles video at up to 4K at 144Hz or 8K at 30Hz, which turns the dock into a single-cable desk anchor for a laptop or handheld rather than a charger alone. The 1.9-inch LCD reports real-time charging rates and file transfer speeds directly on the unit, and ASUS specifies that reading it requires no PC software. The physical knob handles mode selection without a companion app.

Design and Ecosystem
The chassis is black with ROG SLASH design elements and an RGB-backlit ROG Fearless Eye logo that ties into Aura Sync for lighting that matches the rest of an ROG setup. ASUS positions the dock around charging a laptop at the same time as gaming handhelds, phones, headsets and keyboards, which is the scenario the 140W rear port and the two 100W front ports are sized for.

Availability
ASUS announced the ROG Flux Charger Dock on August 24, 2026. Pricing and availability were not disclosed at announcement. Product details are on the ASUS press portal and the wider charger range is listed on the ROG global site.

Can support Switch 2?
It should deliver the right voltage and power but since its just releasing, I haven’t tested it but theoretically would work. I use my ASUS laptop charger (USB-C 100W) to charge my Switch 2, never used it with the dock though
