People who have spent an iota of their time in casual games have been noticing the influx of “free” games with tons of ads included. New York Times even covered the insertion of Dunkin’ Donuts into the Sim’s universe through the various DD themed add-ons found in-game.
Now in line with this, Class BAPR 4 – 2N of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines will be having their seminar about advergaming titled, ADImension: Are You Ready for the Next Level? The seminar would focus mainly on the mix of gaming and advertisement and how businesses grab the opportunity other foreign companies have already jumped at years ago.
The seminar is one of the many that will be covered by the PUP’s 10th Annual Advertising Student Congress that will be held this coming Oct. 20 – 22 at Club Morocco Subic.
