NVIDIA is pushing back review embargoes for the RTX 3080 from Sept. 14 to the 16th but in a more important note, TechPowerUp is also reporting that the highly anticipated RTX 3070 now has an official launch date.
Announced earlier this month together with RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, the RTX 3070 rounds out the upper stack of NVIDIA’s RTX 30-series. Announced at $499 starting price for the Founders Edition model, the NVIDIA RTX 3070 is advertised to perform at a higher level than the RTX 2080 Ti. That performance expectation has given the gaming community a lot of hope for making high-framerate 1080p gaming possible as well as 1440p or 4K gaming more achievable at a lower entry point.
The RTX 3070 will be available starting October 15.
