Watch_Dogs is a game centered around hacking and it is quite poetic that the game itself is being used to hack into users and generate profit from their gaming PCs.
Prior to launch, a cracked version of Watch_Dogs has been shared via torrent and has since been downloaded by tens of thousands of people looking to play the game for free. WCCFTech is reporting that numerous users state that their PCs have been compromised with an application that resides in their system consuming around 25% of system resources.
The application “winlogin.exe” (winlogon.exe is the legit application) runs a bitcoin mining application that mines bitcoins for the uploader of the said torrent.
Bitcoin mining apps are not currently treated as malware so your antivirus might not pick it up during a scan. It is suggested that users be wary of what runs in their systems when installing unfamiliar software… in other words, stop pirating shit.
You save $60 for Watch_Dogs but when you get bitten by this mining malware, you donate your PC resources to the uploader which will bump up your power consumption and that’s where you lose.

but how do the owner of this mining account tunnel the mining profit to his own account , that means that his credential for his bit coin account is there. he can risk is own account if someone will decrypt that file .

From my assessment, its hard-coded in the launcher that masks the actual miner. All that computing power will easily net whoever is behind that some very good profit say after a month or so.
Kaya ako pag sale lang bumibili… kung may bagong maganda talaga, pinagiipunan. 😉
Mas ok pag orig, walang hassle pag nag u update. Specially hinde mo agad pag sasawaan ung laro dahil sa online features. Pero siempre support na den sa gaming developer un. Heheh
