GIGABYTE stepped into a co-branding agreement with Aorus to release a gaming line of notebook which has beaten then projected sales expectations from the new release in North America. GIGABYTE is expected to release an updated 2nd generation model come Computex.
ASUS on the other hand will still go with their Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand of notebooks to compete with MSI as its primary competitor. ASUS continues to see weak sales of its ROG notebooks as observers have pointed out the poor price/performance ratio as well as functionality and design.
