In perhaps the most polarizing post I’ve seen recently, you have to hand it to GALAX for actually having the balls for pulling something like this off. GALAX is marketing their brand new gaming chair and its named as straight as it can be: say hello to the GALAX RGB GAMING CHAIR.
Not much details has been shared but we can infer a few things from the teaser image: first, RGB lighting. It might just be overexposed or a nice lighting trick but the lights on this chair is intense and lights those bright can get very hot and become a fire hazard. That said, Philippine-based PC store Cebu Appliance Center’s proprietor Andy Go published a similar product last year, as seen below:
Comparing the image, its tough to gauge the material quality of either chairs but Andy’s AndyGaming RGB chair shows us a design featuring a foot rest which the GALAX RGB Gaming Chair may or may not have
Moving on to another focus area, we have the design and GALAX’s RGB Gaming Chair isn’t new. GALAX has had gaming chairs previously featuring force feedback functionality but a GALAX branded chair is indeed a first. Featuring the SKU GGC-001, the GALAX RGB Gaming Chair is a traditional gaming chair which features accessory neck and back support.
The GALAX RGB gaming chair comes in 3 colors with black, white and pink. The grey trims are for the RGB hence all chairs share the grey trim.
The legs are made of nylon. No maximum weight rating is published.
