Spotted in Lenovo’s custom pre-built gaming PCs, a listing of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3070 Ti was spotted listed with 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The officially announced RTX 3070 curiously only had 8GB of GDDR6 memory but reports did say that NVIDIA was still holding on to some models.
The listing shows the Legion T7 gaming desktop and we speculate that this may foreshadow NVIDIA’s direction if and should they find the need to refresh or insert a couple of SKUs. As mentioned, the RTX 3080 and its 10GB of VRAM may also see doubled capacity on another SKU. Back to the listing, no other specification is listed.
NVIDIA’s RTX 30 series was announced yesterday with the RTX 3090 coming in at $1499, the RTX 3080 at $699 and the RTX 3070 at $499. You can read more in our launch coverage of the RTX 30 here.
The listing has now been removed but the source link is here in the Lenovo Legion T7 config listing.
