Dead Rising 2 Mission’s List

With Dead Rising 2 still hot off the shelves, Back2Gaming is continuing it’s service to the gaming public by providing yet another guide for those who purchased and are currently decapitating zombies in the game. This time around we’re providing a mission’s list that well… lists down all the missions Chuck Greene will get during the 72 hour duration.

One Man’s Trash

  • Objective: Visit the pawnshop
  • Description: A looter has taken over Moe’s Maginations in the Platinum strip. He sells Zombrex.

Walk up to the pawnshop and talk to the guy running it. You can buy whatever you what, if you have the money. You don’t need to buy Zombrex right now, there are other missions you can do to get Zombrex. Going to this pawnshop unlocks all the stores.

Lost

  • Objective: Help the trigger happy lady
  • Location: Platinum Strip
  • Description: A young woman is armed and taking out some zombies near the Arena entrance.

Barn Burner

  • Objective: Save the trapped people
  • Location: Arena Dressing room
  • Description: A pair of people are trapped by a fire in an arena dressing room.

Lush-ious Lady

  • Objective: Help the drunken dancer
  • Location: Americana Casino
  • Description: There is a lady looking under the weather in the Americana Casino Security Room.

Code Blue

  • Objective: Rescue Sven the paramedic
  • Reward: Zombrex

Speak to Sven and he will join you. Escort him back to the safe house and he will reward you with Zombrex.

Meet the Contestants

  • Objective: Confront the TIR contestant
  • Destination: Platinum Strip
  • Description: One of my TIR rivals is looking for a rematch

Once Bitten

  • Objective: Help the wounded man
  • Location: Wily Travels
  • Description: A Bleeding man has managed to barricade himself in Wily Travels

Jared is upstairs in the Royal Flush mall. He’s been bitten, and needs Zombrex.

Chuck the Role Model

Brandon will charge at you and attack with a piece of glass.
  • Objective: Locate the CURE protester
  • Location:Americana Casino
  • Description: A CURE protester may have snapped

The protester is named Brandon, and he is located in the bathroom in the casino, near the Fortune City Arena. You’ll have to fight him, and it’s not an easy fight. He hides in the bathroom stalls, and he has the ability to go unseen between the stalls on one side of the room and the other. He also is immune to the knockback effects of your weapons. This means that although your weapons will hurt him, they don’t knock him down or give you time to get in a free hit.

Be sure to bring some good combo weapons to this fight, along with food and some Mixed Drinks. Save your game before you go.

An Industrial Fashion

  • Objective: Save the construction workers
  • Location:South Plaza
  • Description: Two construction workers are fighting to stay alive.

Speak to Terri and then Willa. They will join you. Willa will fight, but Terri will not. You will get Terri 27 , 10k PP for escorting Terri, and 12k PP for getting Willa back to the safehouse.

Tastes Like Chicken

  • Objective: Investigate the chef
  • Location:Cucina Donnacci (in the food court)
  • Description: A man in a chef’s coat has been herding survivors into the restaurant.

Wilted Flower

  • Objective: Locate the woman in distress
  • Location:Venus Touch Spa
  • Description: A young woman has fallen victim to her vanity.

Here Comes the Groom

  • Objective: Investigate the wedding
  • Location:Swept Away Wedding Chapel

A couple was seen going into the Swept Away Wedding Chapel

Par for the Course

  • Objective: Locate the woman
  • Location:SporTrance
  • Description: A woman with a golf club is fending off zombies. She has good form.

Rescue Luz. She isn’t far from the Safe House. The SporTrance is in the Royal Flush Plaza. 30k pp reward for getting her back safely. She will also contact you with the “Brent Wood” mission later on.

Everyone Knows Slappy

Slappy.
  • Objective: Locate the mascot
  • Location:Kids’ Choice Clothing
  • Description: A children’s store mascot is lying in a pool of blood.

You’ll have to fight Slappy. He’s armed with a flamethrower.

Stuart’s Scheme

  • Objective: Confront Stuart
  • Location:Safe House
  • Description: Stuart has been riling people up. I have to get back to the safe house and talk to him.

Simply speak to Stuart. You’ll have to talk to him several times in a row. Just keep talking until you complete the mission. 10k pp reward.

Mail Order Zombrex

  • Objective: Investigate the postal cart
  • Location:Royal Flush Plaza
  • Description: Someone is driving a postal cart around the Royal Flush Plaza. There might be Zombrex in one of those packages.

Find the cart in the plaza. Before you examine it, use the nearby restrooms to save your game. When you examine the cart you will speak to Carl the postman. You will then have to fight him. He has a shotgun, and throws bombs. When you defeat him you will get some Zombrex.

Hunger Pains

  • Objective: Locate the man searching for food
  • Location:Dining at Davey’s
  • Description: A portly fellow is more worried about food than zombies. Maybe it’s because he has some Zombrex?

When you find Richard at the Davey’s, he will ask for some food. Bring some with you, because there is none in Davey’s. He will then join you. He will give you Zombrex when you get him safely back to the safe house. Reward: 18k PP.

WWJWD

  • Objective: Investigate the hangings
  • Location:South Plaza
  • Description: A man in a security uniform is taking justice into his own hands.

When you get to the plaza, you’ll encounter a mall cop. You’ll have to defeat him. He uses a six shooter, and has a lasso he will use to bring you close to him if you try to run from him.

Defeating him will get you his “Six Shooter” pistol. It holds 60 shots.

Bank Run

  • Objective: Investigate the Slot Ranch Casino
  • Location: Slot Ranch Casino

A business man with a steel case appears to be robbing the ATM an the Slot Ranch Casino

Slave to Fashion

  • Objective: Locate the woman in distress
  • Location:Fortune City Hotel
  • Description: A frightened young woman is hiding out near the elevators in the Fortune City Hotel. She seems cold.

The woman is named Europa, and she is near the elevators, hiding in the bushes. She doesn’t have any clothes, so she won’t go with you. The solution is to find some underwear for Chuck. Go to the men’s clothing store at the end of the mall and put on some underwear. Go back to Europa and lead her to safety. She won’t fight, but you can carry her. You’ll get 18k PP for completing this mission.

After the mission you’ll need some clothes. You can go back to the store in South Plaza where you got your underwear to get your old clothes back. You can also pick out some new clothes from one of the many stores. Pick something fun.

Ante Up

  • Objective: Play poker in the Safe House

Art Appreciation

  • Objective: Investigate the Art Gallery
  • Location: Cleroux Collection, Palisades Mall
  • Description: A guy was seen crying and staring at art in the Palisades Mall.

Bent Wood

  • Objective: Listen to Luz’s proposition
  • Location:Safe House Lounge

This mission is only unlocked if you rescue Liz in the “Par for the Course” mission. She will ask you to get her a golf club.

Know When to Fold Em

  • Objective: Check out the gambling man
  • Location:Shamrock Casino

Shell Shocked

  • Objective: Help out the man with the gun
  • Location:The American Historium

When you get to Dean, clear out the zombies around him. He can’t walk too fast, but he has a gun and he’s a good shot. Fight your way back to the safehouse. 44k PP

Stranded Siren

  • Objective: Rescue the Mermaid
  • Location:Alantica casino

Tammy can’t walk with her mermaid costume, so you have to carry her. It works out best to run through or around individual zombies. For dense groups you can’t avoid, set her down somewhere safe, clear the the zombies, then pick her up again. You’ll get a 44k PP reward for getting her back.

Dead or Alive?

  • Objective: Talk to the armed man in the Palisades Mall
  • Location: Palisades Mall
  • Reward: 40k pp

One Hit Wonder

  • Objective: Check out the crowd
  • Location:Slot Ranch Casino
  • Description: Several people are sitting down at the Slot Ranch Casino Stage.

When you get there, you will see an old performer with hostages wired to bombs. She wants you to run some errands, including getting her a drink and you putting on a tuxedo.

World’s Most Dangerous Trick

  • Objective: Investigate the Stage
  • Location:Atlantica Casino
  • Description: Looks like someone is performing tricks by the stage in the Atlantica Casino.

When you confront them, you will have to kill the two magicians. Roger carries a sword, while Reed has a fireworks rocket launcher.

Two’s Company

  • Objective: Investigate Hot Excitorama
  • Location:
  • Description: Two guys are arguing and laughing hysterically in Hot Excitorama on the Silver Strip.

The two guys are arguing over which of them is a better comedian. Listen to both their jokes, and give the award on the counter to whichever one you like. That person will go with you. The other will have to bribed ($5000) to join you. Reward: 40k PP for each guy you get back to the safehouse

Family Feud

  • Objective: Help the girl on the roof
  • Location:Fortune City Hotel Rooftop
  • Description: A young girl is crying at the edge of the roof.

Head into the Fortune City Hotel lobby and take the elevator to the roof. When you get there speak to Lillian (she’s not a girl, she’s an adult). She will ask you to find her mother in the Alanticia Casino.

Know when to fold ‘em

  • Objective: Check out the gambling man
  • Location: Shamrock casino
  • Description: A man with a gambling problem his been spotted at Shamrock casino on the Silver Strip

Talk to Bill, at one of the slot machines. He will want $20,000. Give it to him, and he will ask for another $5000. Give that to him and he will go with you. You can make that much (and more) by breaking into the slot machines in the casino. Reward: 40k PP.
