VideoCardz.com and their internal sources are corroborating an ITHome user posting regarding shipments of RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 TI graphics card getting their shipment numbers reduced by 50% throughout the month of September with supplies hopefully increasing during the later part of the month.
The information is not published in public section of the site but rather the Board Channel Forum, a private forum for AIBs and AIC partners as well as OEMs, people who basically make these cards or are part of the supply chain process. It is a place where they exchange information between each other regarding industry happenings.
The post states that board partners are expecting reduced numbers in shipments of RTX 3060 and 3060 Ti cards but will hopefully recover by the close of the month where shipments will once again increase.
Internal sources of VideoCardz cite local COVID outbreaks in China as the primary cause and affects the entire stack of NVIDIA graphics cards, not just RTX 3060. The information does not disclose which partners are affected.
