TechPowerUp is reporting that GIGABYTE will be releasing a new LGA1150 motherboard featuring the Intel B85 chipset dubbed the GIGABYTE G1.Sniper B6. The motherboard will feature two x16 slots, one of which is fully PCI-Express Gen3.0-capable with all x16 lanes active wired straight to the CPU. That means no SLI support.
The G1.Sniper B6 will support both Haswell and Haswell Refresh processors and will feature an 8-phase VRM, M.2 slot and the signature audio solution found in G1.Gaming and G1.Killer series boards.
The G1.Sniper B6 is estimated to retail for around 120$ or lower.
