Budget Gaming Laptops
From our previous listing of laptops that we consider good enough for gaming last 2016, we now have an updated list of budget gaming laptops that you can buy for 2017. All the laptop models that we have selected comes with the latest and the most up to date components that your money can buy(except for Ryzen laptops).
For this listing and recommendation coming from us, we have categorized each laptop according to their suggested retail price and the categories are Under Php30K, 40K, and 50K. Do keep in mind that price may vary from store to store and overtime. We also have provided sources where you can buy the laptops listed here.
The selected laptops that we have chosen are those that has value for your money and can handle popular games, primarily esports such as Dota 2, League of Legends, CS:GO, and Overwatch with playable frame rates. AAA titles may play on their lowest settings on 720p resolution but around 30FPS or so.
Note: If you’re expecting 60FPS fixed-rate performance or insist in such a standard for this market bracket, this is not meant for you.
So without further ado, here is our list of laptops for 2017 that we consider good enough for gaming and that doesn’t break the bank too.
The majority of the models here feature the NVIDIA 940MX GPU which in our internal testing has yielded playable results in 720p which the majority of the models here run at. At 1080p, its not really gonna be any enjoyable so we highly suggest moving over to the next price tier for frequent 1080p gaming. Most of the models here will function well as an everyday work and family notebook for casual gaming.
