Tamashi Nations has recently posted new info and pics for the SH Figuarts Farmboy Luke Skywalker from Episode IV as well as the Heavy Gunner Stormtrooper from Episode VII.
First off, the Heavy Gunner Trooper is a Bandai Web Exclusive. Which means it’s limited, and would definitely not be easily obtained (not to mention costs a bit more). The gear seems removable revealing the basic First Order Stormtrooper look. It will also include a Heavy Gun (duh) and the pistol that wasn’t included in the original FO Stormie release.

If you ask me, I very much prefer the Riot Trooper (because of the stun-baton more than anything), but this should also be a worthy addition to your collection if you manage to get one.

But what got me really excited is the Farmboy Luke. Farmboy Luke! Featuring a more boyish face than the Jedi one, as well as a screen-accurate hair style. It also has a smiling face. Yep, while most Figuarts we’ve seen has neutral and “combat” faces, this particular figure features an alternative head with a smiling face.

That’s not all, besides the mandatory on/off lightsaber, this also comes with other accessories, like the helmet and the Jedi training remote as seen in Episode IV. Perfect for dioramas and shots. Best of all, it seems that it will be available in May alongside Mace Windu.

Considering that Hasbro will also be bringing out a Farmboy Luke (although I’d rather call it a “Ken” doll dressed as Luke), I’d love to see some competition. And I do hope Bandai finally releases that Han Solo figure they displayed a while back and eventually maybe even Rey as well.
