“Creeping up the shadows……come…come…and get….some!”, and those lines have been simply echoing in my ears repeatedly, which I just keep on uttering. You must be darned confused about what ‘am talking about. To be honest, those are the lines from my favorite Assassin’s Creed soundtrack. Yup, it is …which apparently made me listen to similar othergaming soundtracks, and I finally came up with this idea to write and share about the best Assassin’s Creed soundtracks ever. If you have a taste of something rather than Assassin’s Creed music, then you might want to best 120 video game music.
See, I will be honest here. Though Ubi hasn’t been able to properly heed off all the issues associated with the AC franchise in the years recently, it has surely managed to do one thing right. And that is, the perfection in the music involved with each and every Assassin’s Creed game so far. All the music composers have been creating so much innovative and beautiful music that I almost feel like, they deserve to be awarded and appreciated a lot. Anyways, Assassins, it’s time to enjoy ourselves listening to the top 10 Assassin’s Creed soundtracks, so far.
#10 Champion Sound (EP) / Ill Factor – Dyers Evie feat. Melody Noe
Oh…hell! My crush for Evie simply tends to intensify each and every time I listen to this track. Wish she had been my wife! This is some sensational music that exactly fits into her calculated and rational character, which is really some marvelous effort by Ill Factor, the official composer of the music tracks inspired by Syndicate.
#9 Assassin’s Creed Revelations OST – The Road to Masyaf
What a painful adventure it was for the old Ezio, his path to redemption and the journey to find the eternal truth. Still the old guy didn’t back down and proved us how dangerous an Assassin he can still be.
#8 Assassin’s Creed Unity OST- Main Theme
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1mO4v7Fu7Y
One among the very few things that I liked about Unity was its main theme music. There is so much suspension and drama initiated by a slow monotonous note.
#7 Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag – Pyrates Beware
This reminds you something? Yes! Who can forget the adventures of Edward Kenway with the Jackdaw? Man, it really feels nostalgic.
#6 Assassin’s Creed Rogue OST – Animus Black
This has been my all-time favorite Animus music so far. The best part in this soundtrack is exactly, when the periodic instrumental tone begins to transform in the end.
#5 Assassin’s Creed 2 OST / Jesper Kyd – Ezio’s Family
And here we have another painful song dedicated to Ezio. He just had to go through a lot. What happened with his family maybe was very tragic but the change in his perception and ideologies after those events was something remarkable for his career as an Assassin.
#4 Assassin’s Creed Rogue OST – Assassin’s Creed Rogue Main Theme
Guys , don’t know about you but Shay Patrick Cormac is the best AC character so far in my opinion. Why? This music itself depicts everything about his life, from his loyalty to the assassins followed by their betrayal to his rightful revenge as a Templar.
#3 Assassin’s Creed III Main Theme – Lorne Balfe
Connor Kenway was one hell of an Assassin. His determination and energy was simply unbelievable. All those impossible aims and objectives he pulled off single handedly on the height of American Revolution simply marked a new revolution for the Assassins as well.
#2 Champion Sound (EP) / Ill Factor – From the Shadows feat. Jared Evan
Yup, I mentioned this soundtrack from Ill factor in the very beginning of this article. Do I need to justify why this shouldn’t be your favorite music track?
#1 Champion Sound (EP) / Ill Factor – The Rooks
I got to say that one thing I liked about Jacob Frye the most was his initiative to create ‘The Rooks’, and set an example in the history of Underworld Victorian London. What else do you learn from this track? Well, obviously you get to know the power of unity and the impossible feat you can achieve with it.
