Where to Buy Gamer Apparel and Clothing

Valve Store Gamer Apparel

If you’re in the Philippines and are looking for gaming merchandise including gaming shirts, DOTA2 shirts, or any particular gamer theme clothes and apparel then your options is pretty limited. Sure there’s ton of novelty clothing out there in the malls where you can find Super Mario, Plants Vs. Zombies, Angry Birds prints etc. but for the enthusiast gamer who really want to flaunt their love for gaming then there’s nothing more spectacular than having a bad-ass print of their favorite games in your tee or hoodie but where to buy? Duh, online of course. Here’s our quick list of online shops I personally go to for my gamer apparel and clothing needs as well as other merchandise and knicknacks.

If you’re looking to buy eSports apparel like Team Secret jerseys, Fnatic jerseys, Evil Geniuses jerseys or whatever esports apparel you want to flaunt at an event or pub stomp, check out our guide below:

Where to Buy eSports Apparel like Team Jerseys, Hoodies, etc.

Now on to our main guide for gaming apparel and clothing:

JINX

Jinx Gamer Apparel And Clothing

Jinx (stylized J!nx) is by far my go-to store for gamer apparel. J!NX is stocked with shirts that includes prints from Blizzard games like Starcraft, Diablo, and Warcraft but their entire port folio is expansive. J!NX also features prints on hoodies and shirts titles like Titanfall, EVOLVE, Minecraft and some other original works. Some shirts from Valve’s own shop are present but we’ll discuss more of that later. Other items include toys, creepers and socks/stockings for women.

J!nx’s products are of top notch quality and their premium shirts are really great. The prints are clear and of really high quality with vibrant colors that really set them apart. The print themselves aren’t horribly thick and are really light which compliments both premium and basic fabrics in their tee line.

Prices for tees range average at $22 but when sales arrive, some items drop to just $9. Payment can be made via credit card or Paypal but for Philippine buyers we highly recommend Paypal as their system has problems processing our Visa and Mastercard from local banks.

International shipping is available and offers Standard (2 to 3 weeks) and Express (5-7 days) methods. I’ve personally used the Standard method and delivery has been good. Customer Support is also excellent.

ThinkGeek

ThinkGeek has a wider selection of products than J!NX and its selection includes more than just gamer apparel with items like bags, geeky gadgets and tools as well as accessories pile up to make up what’s the largest geek item inventory on net right now. ThinkGeek stocks toys, cosplay merchandise, mugs etc. from various pop culture titles including both games, TV shows and comic books.

We’re still working on getting some items from ThinkGeek as they don’t ship directly to the Philippines but for JohnnyAir is an option.

Valve Store

Valve Store Gamer Apparel

As we’ve mentioned, both J!NX and ThinkGeek stock Valve gamer apparel for titles like DOTA2, Left 4 Dead and Team Fortress. Products also sold are mugs, hoodies and other accessories that are very hard to find and would only be available in the merchandise booth at The International DOTA2 tournament.

Valve’s shirts are of very good quality, needs a bit of cleaning on the stitches but otherwise the fabric, print and embroideries are perfect.

Prices is where it gets really off for Valve. Tees start at $29.99 and range up to $49.99 with hoodies and jackets going past that. Sales will see shirts drop to around $10 to 20$ but shipping is where its really at. Shipping to the Philippines from Valve’s Washing warehouse will cost a minimum of $40 for just 1 item but thankfully that’s FEDEX International Priority which is a 1 to 3-day shipping duration. You’ll find it funny that the other option, FEDEX International Economy, costs more and takes longer.

The main problem here is if you’re ordering 1 item you’re paying alot for the shipping and the eventual customs charges you’ll face. After ordering only 4 shirts which cost me $135 total including shipping and ended up paying another 100$ for customs duties.

If you’re really into DOTA2 or other Valve apparel and the cost is no object to you, then this is your best bet.

Insert Coin Clothing

Insert Coin Gamer Clothing

While we’ve never ordered anything from Insert Coin, we really gotta hand it to them for their excellent collection which spans a tons of games and are not limited to tees and shirts but also bath robes and hoodies. It still manages to make to list for its excellent exclusives. If you’re in the US, know someone there with a delivery address or of course, JohnnyAir Cargo as usual, then you can make an order as InsertCoin doesn’t ship to the Philippines.

Honorable Mentions

While not totally a shop for gamer apparels, there are plenty of stores out that have enough geeks in them that offer gaming-related merchandise for you to rock in their user-submitted design collections:

DesignByHumans

Featuring an incredibly vast user-submitted gallery of print designs, Design By Humans’ collection is so large you’ll have a hard time going through everything in one sitting. Collections are divided via users so if there’s a certain designer you’re interested in, its better to hit them each or else get swamped by the sheer amount of prints available.

Design by Humans has some top notch threads and their fabric quality is excellent. Very soft and prints are vibrant, with some large prints available. Comparing to J!NX, Design by Human’s fabric is much higher quality and lasts longer although their prints do tend to muck up and tear up. Design By Humans stocks Evil Geniuses clothing apparel as well as some exclusive Diablo III prints. We had a problem with shipping but customer support was very nice and responded by sending us our lost order again at no extra charge. They’re prints are also available in other clothing style like tank tops and pullovers.

Highly recommended but pricey and shipping takes a while to arrive for standard international option.

Capcom Unity

We’ll just include this because we’re fans of Street Fighter and MegaMan and a ton of other Capcom franchises. ThinkGeek almost always stocks some of their products but for the most part of their lineup, everything is exclusive to the Capcom Unity store.

200php lang for 5-6 shirts worthh 80USD.

Di ko pa natest sa Manila kasi iwas ako talaga sa customs dito. Best advise ko if Manila-based ka and ayaw mo madale ng customs, address mo sa friend mo na taga-Bulacan.
