As we all know, in the right hands, Doomfist make anyone switch up their comp just to hard counter for a hard punish. Overwatch 2 on the other hand changed a lot of that when he got switched to a Tank. That aside, Blizzard has just partnered up with One Punch Man to bring you Doomfist in yellow tights, red pairs of gloves and boots, and still bald. Glorious.
Blizzard has just announced that it’s working with Japanese Anime “One-Punch Man” for its first-ever major IP collaboration for Overwatch 2. We will get a Saitama skin for Doomfist, but we can also expect more cosmetics as Blizzard reveals each item before they drop on March 7. There will also be one Legendary skin that can be earned through themed challenges, and I’m betting to go bald if it ain’t a Sonic skin for Genji. Calling it now.
“We’re excited to announce that we’ve been working with Japanese Anime “One-Punch Man” on our first-ever major IP collaboration for Overwatch 2 to bring One-Punch Man skins and cosmetics to the game this season,” Blizzard wrote in a blog post. “Together we’ve created a collection of cosmetics from the beloved anime, including Saitama skin for Doomfist. We’ll reveal each item before they drop on March 7, with one being a Legendary skin that’s earnable via themed challenges.”

We’re a couple of hours away from Overwatch 2 Season 3, and with it a host of new content is upon us. A new Control map, a Mythic Kiriko skin and a new Battle Pass centered on Asian Mythology, and a browser-based Overwatch Dating Simulator called Loverwatch. We’ll still have to wait a month for that Saitama skin to drop, though.
Well, technically, he can still be One Punch Man provided you get to hit low HP targets with Meteor Strike dead center. Good luck with that, but I do hope you pull it off every time while you wear that skin just for the lulz.
