A silky and technically very gifted player, Foden is very good attacking midfielder who has been showing what he is capable of on all stages. Foden’s main goal in 2021 will be to cement a starting place at Manchester City and to be a part of Gareth Southgate’s plans ahead of Euro 2021.
Ansummane “Ansu” Fati (rating 76)
Ansu Fati is one of the top prospects in world football. The pacey and very skilful goalscoring winger is already a regular in both FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team squads. Fati holds the record for the youngest goal scorer in FC Barcelona and La Liga history scoring when he was jsu 16 years and 304 days old at the time! Ansu Fati who pre-dominantly plays from the left wing, is the latest starlet from FC Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy. With the uncertain future surrounding Lionel Messi, Barcelona perhaps have one player in Ansu Fati who can begin the huge task of trying to fill his boots.
Alphonso Davies (rating 81)
Alphonso Davies is already building a reputation as one of the best left backs in the world. The Canadian who plays his club football for Bayern Munich, is already a Champions League winner at the age of 20 years old. Known as one of the fastest players around, Davies is a resolute and formidable defender. Davies also is a great offensive threat, due to previously playing as a left winger when Bayern Munich signed him for a reported fee of €11.3M from Vancouver Whitecaps in the USA.
Mason Greenwood (rating 77)
Manchester United academy graduate Mason Greenwood has been resounding positive in what has been a fluctuating few years at Manchester United. Scoring 17 goals in his break-out season in 2019-2020, Greenwood is a forward with an unbelievable finishing ability. Being as good on his right foot as he is on his left, Greenwood has proved to be an unpredictable opponent for defenders because they don’t know which direction he’s going to turn! With a shooting form shockingly similar to Robin van Persie, Manchester United fans and England will be hoping Greenwood can continue his development through 2021.
Eduardo Camavinga (rating 76)
Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is making a name for himself as a one of the best upcoming midfielders around. After bursting onto the scene after a man of the match performance vs. PSG at the age of 16, Camavinga’s form and ability has propelled him into Didier Deschamps plans his France squad going into Euro 2021. Camavinga is a box to box midfielder who also has an eye for goal. 2021 could potentially be a big year for him, because his quality has been attracting the interest of other European giants such as Real Madrid and Manchester United so he could have some big decisions to make.
